Arbor Vitae Acupuncture Clinic

For the last ten years, we have been providing acupuncture services to patients in Everett and the Puget Sound area.

We are more than a health & wellness clinic. We are an acupuncture clinic that truly cares about your health & well-being. Our current healthcare system is a fast paced and high volume model and patients can sometimes feel lost or not heard. At our clinic, our goal is to slow down and take the much needed time to listen, examine, and evaluate each patient and their health care needs.

Whether you suffer from migraines or want to find an alternative to a daily regiment of taking pain medications, we can help.

Meet the provider

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to get to know me. My name is Roselyn Bailey and I am a Board Certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in the State of Washington.

Prior to becoming a licensed acupuncturist, I worked for many years in a chemistry and research lab, overseeing the Basic Sciences department. Although I enjoyed working in a laboratory setting, my passion has always been to help people heal by providing the highest standard of care through Traditional Chinese Medicine.

My clinical training has included rotations at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Harborview Medical Center, and Chengdu Hospital in China.

At the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, I treated patients with many common illnesses such as colds, flus, allergies, menstrual disorders, digestive complaints, migraines and headaches, stress/anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, radiculopathy, and acute and chronic pain. While at Harborview Medical Center, I worked in several different departments such the International Medicine Clinic, Chronic Fatigue Clinic, and the Madison Clinic. I also participated in an intensive study of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Chengdu Hospital in Chengdu, China. While in China, my hospital rotations included shifts in the Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Rheumatology, and Respiratory departments. On these shifts, I was exposed to how effective Traditional Chinese Medicine can be when used alongside allopathic medicine.

With my strong background in both Western science and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I am able to fully comprehend and treat the healthcare needs of my patients. My focus is on reestablishing the homeostatic balance between mind, body, and spirit through using acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I also employ many other therapies in my practice to restore and maintain health such as Electro-acupuncture, Tuina, Auricular acupuncture, Cupping, Gua-sha, and Moxibustion.

My certifications: Diplomate of Oriental Medicine

A Diplomate of Oriental Medicine is a practitioner who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and has met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbology as defined by the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) profession. For additional information, about the Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, please visit the NCCAOM website.
